Join us for a virtual afternoon of engaging activities, cooking demonstrations, informative talks, and dance and exercise lessons hosted by Latroy Robinson.

Kalisha Bonds-Johnson, Ph.D.: Assistant Professor (TenureTrack) at the School of Nursing, Emory University

Health equity is defined as “the absence of unfair and avoidable differences in health among populations defined socially, economically, demographically or geographically.” During Dr. Bonds Johnson’s talk, she will share her personal experiences as well as how her clinical expertise and research are in search of health equity for African American/Black older adults living with dementia.

Ebony Plamondon: Local culinary chef, Owner of Ebby Lou’s Catering Services

Feedback/Evaluation form raffle - $50 Visa gift card and three sets of LED lights (3 potential winners): We will be raffling off a Visa $50 gift card, and three sets of LED lights to prevent unnecessary falls this upcoming season. You must fill out our event evaluation form in order to be entered for this particular drawing, and we will be contacting the winner on October 28th, 2021.
