Title of talk:
Understanding Gentrification Displacement: Addressing Neighborhood Health Inequities Through an Anti-Displacement Lens
When neighborhoods change or gentrify, housing displacement can compromise health. Research suggests that long-term, lower-income, and predominantly Black and Latino/x- residents are most impacted by housing displacement.
This talk will engage with the local community to understand the impact of displacement on health, and the efficacy of recent policies that aim to reduce displacement.
